Writing Frameworks - 2 Book Series
This two book resource series assists in the teaching of transactional text types to students. The books provide prewriting strategies, guides, and model exemplars across seven writing genres. Book A looks at recounting (timelines, recounting the news / an event), describing (an event / an object), procedure (flow charts, sequencing), and reporting (characteristics grids, brainstorming). Book B looks at explaining (using a sketchboard), arguing (creative problem-solving) discussing and assessment.
