Talking in Pictures
This resource provides practical and visual counselling techniques for children and adolescents across the age range, and is particularly helpful for those with social difficulties, language problems, autism spectrum disorders, as well as those who are reluctant to talk.
It can be used with individual students or adapted for use with groups, and includes ideas for exploring feelings, dealing with anxiety, teasing, bullying, friendships, and anger management.
School counsellors, psychologists, teachers, social workers and speech therapists may find the ideas helpful.
