Cells Are Us

The activities included examine animal, plant and fungal cells, unicellular micro- organisms, the smallest bacteria and non-living virus particles. Students will learn and compare the structure and function of cell types, uses and harmful effects of different cells, and the nature of micro-organisms. A major research project is included and designed to enhance research skills and encourage debate on biological theory.
