Each of the four photocopiable books in this series contains 5 ready-to-go investigative activities, each of which can be completed in 3 minutes. Each investigation is presented as a question - for example, can you separate solid particles from water? Each activity contains a list of equipment and materials, clear instructions, helpful illustrations, guiding questions, and extension activities. Book A covers materials and their properties; Book B covers physical processes; Book C covers life processes and living things; and Book D covers earth and beyond. The investigations can be used flexibly for individual work, group work or class demonstrations.
